Box

This ceramic box was made with five different slabs all about the same size and shape. The lid was also made from a slab of clay with a square shaped handle slipped and scored to stay vonnected to the lid. It was glazed with a high fire brown and black glaze. The box has a varyied texture from smooth to rough on parts of the box.

Pinch Pot

My pinch pot was made using a ball of moist clay, using the "pinching" method to form the shape of a circular bowl. It also has a rough outside texture from the high fire glaze used on the outside and inside of the pot.

1st project- wire sculpture

This sculpture is made of a wire base wrapped with paper mache throughout. This snake sculpture has a contrast of a light to to dark green color from the tail to the head.
